About the Project
The Wells Branch Municipal Utility District (MUD) Skate Park is located next to the Recreation Center at 3000 Shoreline Drive. Funded, developed and maintained by the Wells Branch MUD, it’s the newest skatepark located within the Austin, Texas city limits.
Shotcrete Construction
Turn-key skatepark shotcrete operations include placement of the skatepark terrain, shaping and steel trowel finishing. ACI Certified Shotcrete Nozzlemen were utilized in order to be considered responsive and qualified contractors for this specialized work.
Terrain includes an open ended bowl with depths of up to five feet. Banks and other transitional features were shot as specified in the plans. Integral colored concrete pigment was mixed on site prior to placement.
